Our highly trained team members know how to handle heavy-duty moving.
When you are planning to relocate but the job requires more than just some boxes and a standard moving truck, it may qualify as a heavy-duty moving job. This type of work often includes moving oversized or valuable furnishings, commercial inventory, specialized equipment, or other large or particularly heavy items. You need a team of professional movers who understands the complexities of heavy-duty moving, and that’s where Jay Moore Moving comes in. We are based in Greenville, South Carolina and can handle moves of all sizes, including transporting heavy and bulky items.
Our team of heavy-duty moving experts will utilize advanced tools and equipment to transport these items safely. Since each of our crew members is highly trained, we know how to maneuver difficult pieces through hallways, elevators, loading docks, and staircases without causing damage to the belongings or property. Before we start, we’ll make a detailed plan that includes each piece and how we will get it from point A to point B safely and efficiently.
Specialty Items We’re Trained to Move
With up-to-400-lb capability, we are able to move a variety of heavy, specialty items:
- Pianos – We move pianos with extreme care to avoid injury and prevent damage to your instrument, which we understand may have both monetary and sentimental value.
- Safes/Gun Safes – With specialized equipment and trained movers, we can move your safe carefully so it reaches its destination without any issues.
- Pool Tables – Moving pool tables requires meticulous planning to get them through doorways, up or down stairs, and beyond other obstacles. We can also disassemble them before moving them if necessary.
- Appliances – We regularly move appliances such as refrigerators, chest freezers, washers, dryers, and ovens with caution so they will still function properly in their new places.
- Antiques – If you have antique furniture such as a desk, table, dresser, or cabinet, you can trust our movers to use protective materials and handle the furniture gently.
Moved a big gun safe for me today on time, very professional about what they were doing, well knowledgeable, moved from Pacolet SC to Gaffney.
Jay and his team were top-notch! They moved a 100-year-old piano across state lines for a fair price, and with excellent service. Highly recommend.
